Sales Trader - US Markets

We’re seeking a qualified US Sales Trader to develop and execute sales strategies, generate leads, and close deals for GO2 Market’s US division. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

Objectives of this Role

  • The opportunity to generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth in the US market
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists
  • Build a new and existing portfolio (i.e. searching for contacts, sending emails, cold calling)
  • Achieve annual quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
  • Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
  • Have a passion for sustainability and climate action

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Consult companies on their sustainability goals by offering our products and services
  • Conduct meetings and discussions with potential customers about their needs
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge
  • Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's graduate, preferably in Business
  • 2-3 years of full-time sales/brokerage experience in the field of Sustainability, Environmental Commodities or in Business development
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful solution
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skill
  • Ability to understand customer needs and be very solution-oriented

  • A motivated, driven, and self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Fluent in English
